Artist of the Month [December 2021] – June Chen Ahleman
Our Artist of the Month for December is only 17 years old. At this tender age, she is already showing extreme talent in painting and mixed media. I’m excited to introduce you to June Chen Ahlman.
June is attending Waldorf High School and was born and resides in Evanston, IL. Residents here may know her father, Thomas Ahleman, who is a local architect and has a business just around the corner from Coco Design & Build Co.’s design studio called Studio Talo – http://studiotalo.com. Thomas’s face is featured in one of June’s pieces of art. She likes to use family members that mean a great deal to her as her subjects in some of her beautiful work.
June is definitely an up-and-coming artist to watch. I personally can not wait to see her develop as an artist considering she is this talented already.
